3. The hook method
(1) lift hook
Liao hook is hook tip do point and from down to up or by former backward liao check method. The action method and function the same as the curtains blow, only to change the punch to hook. See liao.
When teenagers practice should be paid attention to: (1) shoulder to loose, arms straight. (2) shall become warped in the process of liao arm wrist, file liao should flexor wrist when in place.
(2) bump hook
Bump hook is hook back do impact point from inside to outside the hook method. The action method is: two feet to open, and shoulder are the same as wide, both hands fuels at the waist; A left hook, straight arm forward to hook back, and shoulder high, hook pointed downward; Left hook back right hook forward the impact at the same time.
Bump hook is mainly used to attack each other's head, chest, abdomen and other parts.
Teenagers practice should be paid attention to: (1) hook body matter, wrist flexion strength. (2) the rest of the matters needing attention the same as the strike (for "strike ").
    3.勾法
    (1)撩勾
    撩勾是以钩尖为力点,由下向上或由前向后撩击的勾法。其动作方法及作用与撩拳相同,只将拳改为勾。参见撩拳。
    青少年练习时应注意:①肩要松,臂要直。②在撩臂过程中应翘腕,档撩到位时应屈腕发力。
 
    (2)撞勾
    撞勾是以勾背为力点从内向外冲撞性的勾法。其动作方法是:两脚开立,与肩同宽,双手抱拳于腰间;左拳变勾,以勾背向前直臂撞击,高与肩平,勾尖向下;左勾收回的同时右勾向前撞击。
    撞勾主要用于攻击对方头、胸、腹等部位。
    青少年练习时应注意:①勾体要紧,屈腕要用力。②其余注意事项与冲拳相同,参加“冲拳”。
